What I Treat

I treat all populations and have had success treating...

Acute and chronic pain, spinal, pelvic and joint pain, Muscle/soft tissue pain, Sport injuries, cardio/respiratory difficulties, digestive system discomfort, Headaches/migraines, TMJ dysfunctions, head injuries (concussions), MVA related incidents, pregnancy/postpartum pain, women's health related issues and much more.

What you can Expect

The treatment will be 45 minutes and combines elements of massage, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, joint mobilization, craniosacral therapy and Kinesio-Taping as your body requires. For an accurate assessment please bring shorts and loose fitting t-shirt or sports bra (I do not treat with sheets or lotion). We will begin with a structural alignment of your body followed by the removal of the primary restrictions that are interfering with your body's ability to heal and will finish by integrating the session with your entire body so that your ailments do not return. I will also provide home care, education and referrals if relevant. Receipts for massage therapy will be provided for insurance purposes.

The goal of my practice is to keep you engaged in the things you're passionate about for as long as you desire. As a Registered Massage Therapist, completing my studies as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, I facilitate my treatments though a rehab/pre-hab approach rooted in a unique sense of palpation, enhanced knowledge of  human anatomy and patient education.

A Little About Kaelenn

My involvement in manual therapy stems from my sport experience as I became fascinated by body mechanics and how the body moves and responds under stress. I currently am fortunate to provide massage therapy to the professional sports teams of Halifax (Wanderers/Tides/Thunderbirds).

I received a Massage Therapy diploma from the Sutherland-Chan School in Toronto, and currently study a manual approach to Osteopathy within the Continuing Studies program of Sutherland-Chan, formerly the Canadian College of Osteopathy, Toronto. My treatments foster full body harmony using a gentle, hands-on approach to resolve injuries of all types, while being aware of the effects of mental health on alignment, posture, and full-body integration.

With a mission to promote health and growth in those around him, I approach my practice with compassion and empathy. I am dedicated to fostering an environment where my clients feel understood and supported in their healing journey.
